Dr. Dean Stelmaschuk and his team are here because they are highly trained, professional, caring, and dedicated to giving you the finest quality dental care. In James Bay since 1988, Dr. Dean Stelmaschuk set up in this modern and comfortable location in 2009. His vision has always been to provide quality care with your overall dental health as his prime consideration. He and his staff are dedicated to making your dental experience relaxed and personal, and they listen to you while planning your treatment!

THE RADIUS DENTAL TEAM...

DR. DEAN STELMASCHUK has brought together a group of professionals dedicated to his philosophy of providing qualtiy care. In the James Bay area since 1988, Dr. Stelmaschuk brings his caring approach to dental care to his patients. As the clinic founder, he is always looking for ways to better serve his patients and his community. These have included expanding services to include Aesthetics as well as bringing more trained professionals into his clinic, offering both longer  and more convenient hours (including evening appointments) and extended services. DR. DAVID JOHNSON is now providing dental care to patients in our Radius facility. Born and raised in the Victoria area, he is a graduate of UBC Dental School. He returned to his roots on the island a few years ago, and is committed to providing He has a strong background in general and surgical dentistry. He has a great sense of humor, confidence, and personable manner. New patients are welcome.

DR. ATHAR BUTT has joined the Radius Group. He comes to us via Edmonton, and has a military background, working as a dentist for the Canadian Armed Forces. Dr. Butt is committed to providing excellent general dental servicess. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Athar also has a degree in Biochemistry from McMaster University. He will be working later hours, allowing us to now offer appointments after work or school, at times that work for busy people. Radius Dental will be open until 9 p.m. Thursdays. 

DR. JEROME BERGERMAN is now working at Radius as an associate dentist. We are very pleased that he is able to bring his expertise to our clinic and patients. A seasoned professional, he brings a vast background of clinical experience to our office. Known as much for the quality of care he gives to the person as for the quality of care he gives to your dental health, his presence in our office will be an asset to our patients. 

RADIUS AESTHETICS TEAM - we now offer Botox, Dermal Laser, and Skin Fillers in our clinic. Our doctors and clinicians are highly trained in the techniques. Book a consultation to find out more about what we offer and what we may be able to do for you. 

DR. JULIAN HANCOCK is offering dermatology and skin care services, including Dermal Laser and Dermal Fillers. Dr Hancock is a qualified dermatolotist, and he and the Radius Staff an advise the best treatments for your budget and for your desired results. See our Facial Aesthetics page for more information. 

DR. DEAN STELMASCHUK has had extensive training in Botox® treatments and has been providing this treatment to his patients for the past few years. in addition to cosmetic purposes, Botos can treat bite and jaw problems. Book a consultation to find out more.

We accept Dental Insurance Plans, and depending on your coverage, we may be able to direct bill your plan, and we accept Interac (Debit Card), Visa, Mastercard, cheques, and cash.

For your enjoyment while at the dentist, we have ceiling mounted televisions for viewing during your appointment, a great selection of magazines, and we showcase paintings and artwork by local artists.

• Monday – Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Out of hours emergencies – we ask our patients to please call our office at 250-380-6655 for emergency instuctions and contact information.

Parking is easy - free parking up to 90 minutes on Menzies Street, and for longer appointments we have patient parking available behind the building. Access is off Toronto Street (one way street), enter the driveway and drive to the allotted Customer Parking spots behind the yellow building. Easy one level access right to the front door. And our office is completely wheelchair accessible.
